When device frames help and when they add noise

Device frames help when they improve readability, clarify platform context, or support a more premium visual system. They hurt when they reduce space for the actual UI or make the sequence feel repetitive.

The strongest approach is usually consistency with intent. If frames are used, make them part of the narrative system instead of switching styles from one screenshot to the next.
